05.07.2007 | Pro bono more fun than paid work?

Our new, ongoing pro bono project for the Burnaby office of S.U.C.C.E.S.S. Training Institute has been a rewarding experience so far.

This may sound strange, but we are more excited about this project than we are about some of our paying work, because it involves components of interior design, and the creation of decorative wall art. These are both activities we enjoy. We have come up with some fun, inexpensive ideas for wall art and we can't wait to get to work on them.

If we were independently wealthy, we'd farm ourselves out to all kinds of charities. But our limit still has to be about 4 hours per week per full-time employee. We are catching up on some of those hours in the summer months, so that it should average out over the year.
